PaymentOne Selected by Rodopi Software to Deliver Advanced Payment Solutions to Service Providers

San Jose, CA — December 16, 2003 — PaymentOne® Corporation, the leading payment service provider (PSP) for digital merchants and service providers and Rodopi Software, a global leader in automated billing, provisioning and customer care software for service providers, today announced the immediate availability of an integrated payment solution as part of the Rodopi Billing Software Suite. Currently deploying the advanced payment solution includes initial joint customer JOI Internet, a subsidiary of Hawk Communications, LLC, and the nations largest independent Internet Service Provider.

This newly integrated solution will enable internet based companies using Rodopi Software to significantly expand their market reach and revenue by offering its end consumers PaymentOne's suite of "No Credit Card Required" payment options. Payment options include their flagship service, PhoneBill ™, where charges are routed directly to a consumer's local monthly phone bill without requiring the consumer to enter sensitive private financial information. The integrated solution will include real time validation, user authentication, and fraud management.

As a result, service providers can reach broader consumer segments that are unwilling or unable to use credit cards online, many times because of their significant security and fraud concerns. In a recent UCLA Internet Report, over 92% of online consumers were somewhat or extremely concerned about fraud and security. A recent Online Payment Strategy & Preference Poll commissioned by EContent Magazine and PaymentOne showed over 61% of consumers surveyed stated more secure and convenient payment options would make them more inclined to transact online. Typical deployments of alternative payment options have resulted in incremental revenue increases of 25%-35%.
